ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Yoruba traditional woven clothes is indigenous to the Yoruba people. It is an occasional wear, as it cannot be worn as a daily casual wear. Many of these traditional fabrics are heavy, but the modern ones are light because it is woven with the modern light weight threads. It is often used during traditional marriage, Naming Ceremony, Burial, Chieftaincy Celebration and during other traditional festivals. It is easy to tie and it is very befitting.
