Aàrẹ Ọ̀nà Kakanfo, Ọ̀túnba Gàní Adams ti wọn ṣe ìwúyè fún ni ọjọ́ Àbámẹ́ta, oṣù kini, ọjọ́ kẹtàlá ọdún Ẹgbàáléméjìdínlógún fi ẹ̀dùn ọkàn hàn nipa bi àṣà àti ìṣe Yoruba ti fẹ́ parẹ́. Nigba ìwúyè, Ọ̀túnba Gàní Adams ṣe àlàyé pé́ ori ire ni wi pé kò si ogun ti ó nja ilẹ̀ Yoruba lọ́wọ́lọ́wọ́, ṣùgbọ́n òhun yio tẹra mọ́ṣẹ́ lati dáàbò àti bójútó àṣà àti ìṣe Yorùbá.

Ìpínlẹ̀ Èkó ti tún ta wọ́n yọ lẹ́ ẹ̀kan si. Ni Ọjọ́bọ̀, oṣù keji ọjọ́ kẹjọ, ọdún Ẹgbàáléméjìdínlógún, Gómìnà Akínwùnmí Àmbọ̀dé ju ọwọ́ lu òfin ti yio ṣe ìpamọ́ àti gbé èdè Yorùbá ga.

Akọ̀wé Yorùbá lóri ayélujára yin Gó́mìnà Akínwùnmí Àmbọ̀dé àti àwọn Aṣòfin Ìpínlẹ̀ Èkó fún iṣẹ́ takuntakun ti wọ́n ṣe lati ṣe òfin fún ìpamọ́ àti ìgbéga èdè Yorùbá.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

The 15^th Aare Ona Kakanfo, Chief Gani Adams who was installed on Saturday, January, 13, 2018 expressed the concern that Yoruba culture and values are going into extinction. During his installation, he opined that though he was lucky that there is no war ravaging Yoruba nation right now, he will continue to work tirelessly to protect and preserve Yoruba culture and values.
