Ki ṣe eyi nikan, Ìjọba Ológun àti Òṣèlú bẹ̀rẹ̀ iwà ibàjẹ́ nipa ki kó owó ti ó yẹ ki wọn fi tún ilú ṣe jẹ. Wọn ò kó owó àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ yi dúró ni ilú, wọn nko lọ si Òkè-Òkun, eyi ló ba iná mọ̀nàmọ́ná, ilé-ìwòsàn, ilé-iwé, ọ̀nà, omi mi-mun àti ohun amáyédẹrùn yoku jẹ́.
Lẹhin ti àwọn Ìjọba Ológun àti Òṣèlú fi ipò wọn ba ilú jẹ́ tán, bi ori bá fọ́ wọn, wọn á gba ọ̀nà Òkè-Òkun lọ fún ìtọ́jú, dipò ki wọn tú ile-iwé ṣe, wọn a fi owó ti wọn ji pamọ́ rán ọmọ lọ si Òkè-Òkun fún ẹ̀kọ́ ti ó yè kooro. Wọn a fi owó àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ́ ra ilé nla si Òkè-Òkun, oúnjẹ àti èso ilú kò dùn lẹnu olówó, aṣọ àti ohun ti ará ilú nṣe kò dára tó, ọjà Òkè-Òkun nikan ni wọn lè fi yangàn.
Lai pẹ yi, àwọn Òṣèlú bẹ̀rẹ̀ si polongo pé “ki ará́ ilu ra ọja ilú, ki Naira (owo Nigeria) lè gòkè”. Ki i ṣe ìyànjú burúkú ni eyi ṣùgbọ́n, “ọ̀rọ̀ kò dùn lẹ́nu olè”, kì í ṣe lati ẹnu àwọn Òṣèlú ti ẹnu wọn ti fẹ si ọjà òkèrè nitori wọn ti kó owó ilú pamọ́ si àwọn ilú Òkè-Òkun. Bi a bá ṣe akiyesi, ki àṣiri tó tú ni àsikò Ìjọba tuntun (Buhari/Òṣinbàjò), àwọn ti ilé-iṣẹ́ Agbógun ti ìwà ìbàjẹ́ tọka tàbi mú pé ó kó owó ilú jẹ jù̀, kò wọ aṣọ Òkè-Òkun. Ó san ki wọn wọ aṣọ Òkè-Òkun, ju ki wọn kó owó rẹpẹtẹ ti wọn ji kó lọ si Òkè-Òkun.

Ẹ̀bẹ̀ la bẹ̀ “Òṣèlú Nigeria” ki wọn ma pe Ajá l’Ọbọ fún ará ilú, ki wọn kó owó ilú ti wọn ji pamọ́ si Òkè-Òkun padà, ki wọn si fi àpẹrẹ rere silẹ̀ fún ará ilú nipa àyipadà kúrò ni iwà ojúkòkòrò àti olè ti wọn nfi ipò jà dúró. Àyipadà Òṣèlú kúrò ninú iwà burúkú ni ó lè mú ki owó ilú (Naira) kògè.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
For about forty years ago, Crude Oil has been the mainstay of the Nigerian economy and it has generated a lot of revenue for the nation. When Crude Oil began to bring in lots of revenue, people abandoned agriculture and other local manufacturing of goods for the love of foreign goods. It was at the peak of Crude Oil revenue that importation of rice replaced other local food items. Not only food importation destroyed the Nigerian economy, both Military and Political Government became corrupt by looting public funds meant for the provision of public infrastructure. The corruptly acquired wealth were not kept in the country but taken abroad, this led to the decay of infrastructure such as power supply, hospitals, schools, roads, clean water etc.
After the Military and Politicians have jointly destroyed the country, if any of them has headache, he/she goes abroad for treatment, instead of providing quality education for the masses, they sponsor their children abroad for quality education. Money acquired through bribery were smuggled out to buy mansions abroad, the Politicians developed a distaste for local food and fruits, clothes and all other locally manufactured goods are no longer good enough as they have taken pride in importation from abroad.
Recently, some Politicians began to campaign that Nigerians should “Buy Nigerian to grow the Naira”. This slogan is not a bad idea but “no advice is good enough from a thief”, as such advice is deceitful from Politicians whose love of anything foreign is sustained through the stolen public fund stashed away abroad. As a point of reference, before the new government of (Buhari/Osinbajo) began to arrest and expose the public looters through the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), many of these alleged looters were not decked in imported attire in public. It is even better to wear imported clothes than stashing abroad the huge looted public fund.
Nigerians are pleading with the “Nigerian Politicians” to stop deceiving the people, by repatriating the public looted fund from abroad, show good example to the people by changing from their greedy ways and stop using their position of trust to loot the treasury. It is Change by the Politicians from their current greed to patriotism that will grow the Nigerian currency (Naira).
