ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Many in high positions often ruin it with evil character. The current news is on Late Jimmy Savile, who used evil act to destroy the work he has done through fund raising for good cause. In time past, some Kings or Chiefs used their position to commit evil acts – such as forcefully taking other people’s wives/fiancé; take over farm or land forcefully within their community without anyone being able to challenge these acts; but nowadays, King/Chief that tries these evil acts will be disgraced.
King/Chief would have committed their evil acts for long before an uprising from the people to dethrone them, but nowadays, it is not long before anyone who used his/her position to commit evil is disgraced. Yoruba King/Chief/Wealthy person, that used his/her position or wealth to commit evil in this modern time, cannot hide, because he/she is quickly exposed in the media: newspaper; radio; television and on the internet.
The King not only faces judgement of dethronement for his evil act by his people, but condemnation from the entire world, such King/Chief/Prominent man will also face court summon. For example: King Adebukola Alli – Alowa of Ilowa that was accused of rape by a female Youth Corps member and the Deposed Deji Akure – Oluwadare Adesina.
